Family.
I married Randy back in June of 1976 after I’d finished only three semesters of college. We started our family once we began pastoring here at LCC, with Landon, then Lauren and Logan rounding out the “L Team”. Each of the L’s are now married bringing three more to love and there are two sweet lil grands in the picture, making life as sweet as pie.
What might people find surprising about you?
Most people would be surprised to hear that I grew up on a thoroughbred horse farm in Hot Springs, Arkansas. My dad was a breeder and employed trainers at our training facility called Porter Farm. Also, my legal name has nothing to do with Tina, but I’ll leave that for another day.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
“It’s not necessary to say everything you think”
If you could get coffee with one person, living or dead, who would it be?
I’d have coffee with my Dad who passed away when I was 23. There’s a lot I’d like to ask him about.
What movie show best describes your life?
The Bishop’s wife, with David Niven, Cary Grant and Loretta Young. It’s old, I know, but I truly love 1940’s movies (not to mention Cary Grant)
