Child Dedication
February 23, 2025
Children are our welcomed guests at Life Community Church! KidCity, our ministry for 2nd – 6th grade is one of our most exciting experiences each week. We believe in reaching kids right where they are. That’s why we strive to create an atmosphere filled with fun, laughter and the presence of God.
Tiny Town (infants-5 year olds) and The Park (kinder & 1st grade) are designed to attract the hearts of children in such a way that they truly want to come back each week to meet with God and learn about Him in creative ways. Our commitment to parents is to providing a safe and nurturing environment, allowing us to teach children to love Jesus and follow Him throughout their lives.
Let us know you’re coming and save time on Sunday morning by pre-registering your kids now.
LIFEKIDS EXIST TO...
INTRODUCE CHILDREN TO A REAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS
HELP THEM DISCOVER THEIR OWN UNIQUE GOD GIVEN GIFTS AND TALENTS
EQUIP THEM TO BE WORLD CHANGERS
LifeKids meet at the same service times as the adults. Both 9:30am & 11am. We have something special for your child from the nursery through elementary school. We look forward to them being our guest this Sunday.
First. Stop by and get a donut, you’ll want to finish this before you head to class. Next, check in at the Welcome Center to get registered. To make it quicker, you can fill out your info easily on the RSVP form and be ready to quickly check-in this Sunday.
Each class from Tiny Town, The Park and KidCity are designed specifically for each age group. Each child will hear about how Jesus loves them, but in a fun way! We want each child to leave knowing they are loved by Christ.
We will text with the phone number you gave us when you registered at Check-In. Keep your phone on you and if your child needs you or is upset, we will text you.
When you check-in , you will receive a parent pick up tag. When the service is over, head to pick up your kids. We use the Parent Tag to match the sticker on your child.
We know trying out new churches are scary, especially for kids. And next time will be even better, because they will have made new friends. Next time, you can stop by Self Check-In and print your Check-In tags and Parent Tag. We can’t wait to see you again!
Your child's safety is important to us. We know leaving your child with someone is a big deal and we want you to know we take their safety important.
Each child must be in the system, so we can safely check them in. That way if we have an issues, we can text you during the service.
Each volunteer from check-in to teachers and volunteers in each classroom has had a background check performed and cleared.
You must present a pick-up tag to pick-up your child.
We have cameras in each classroom. And in the Toddler Town hallway, we have live feed from the cameras on TVs in the hallway.
We do serve snacks in The Park and Toddler Town, and occasionally KidCity. If your child is allergic to something, let us know.
We have a safety team that is here during our Sunday services and events.
Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Dedication is a celebration that recognizes your child as a gift from God and makes public the church's commitment to your family and your commitment to raising your child in the church. To dedicate your child to the Lord is to make a promise to completely submit your child to the will of God and raise that child in the ways of the Lord.
If you are the parent of an infant, toddler or elementary age child and you would like to dedicate your child to the Lord, we would be honored to be a part of this special time for your family.
Child Dedications can be requested for a specific date or service. Please feel free to invite your friends and family to join us for this special service as well. To request to have your child dedicated, please fill out the child dedication form below, by clicking the button.
