There’s a car wash in Forney that says “NO Mudders”. Is that really a problem? Guess so! There are guys who take their four-wheel-drive vehicles out to play in the mud ( I’m guessing after a nice rain) and then try to make the same vehicle presentable by washing them, and stopping up the plumbing at said, car wash. Kids love to play in mud and some of us never grow up.

Do you ever feel like you’re going through life with mud on your windshield and you can’t see clearly where you’re going or why your situation is so dire? Maybe it’s clear at the back windshield but that’s where you’ve been – not where you’re going. In Philippians 1 Paul refers to his own situation of being imprisoned in chains and because of his imprisonment he has had influence on the prison guards and wins some to Christ. He claims that the reason for this difficult season has BECOME CLEAR.

As I’ve prayed with people who are in cross roads and have to make decisions they’re not prepared to make. I’ve told them to give it a little time first of all. Even a muddy river will clear in a few days after a heavy rain and their situation, and the decisions around, that situation may look clearer in a few days. A small stream even clears in a few hours, and so will some of the things you need to decide on. Secondly, let the peace of God rule in your heart (Phil. 4:7) and where the direction that offers peace may be the right decision while feeling troubled may not. Lastly, trust Him who has you and your muddy situation in his hands. He has his hand on you and he is trustworthy.

Hope you’re already seeing more clearly.

I Love you too, Pastor Tina
