Randy Huett

I met my wife Tina at bible school. She was playing double tennis and I ran by and they needed another player. I hadn’t played much tennis, so when I hit the ball I hit it on the handle and hit a line drive line into her eye. I jumped the net, (yes, it was a long time ago)  and ran to say I was sorry. I have been saying Im sorry for 43 years now, just about caught up.  Today, we have three  adult  children and three grandchildren.

What might people find surprising about you?

I don’t like scary movies or even really suspensfull movies. One time I kicked the guy in front of me in the shoulder when I jumped in the movie “Alien” I mean, they are on a modern spaceship in the future and the best weapon they can come up with is a flame thrower from the first World War?

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Live like eternity matters.

Faithfulness is more important than talent.

If you could get coffee with one person, living or dead, who would it be?

My Dad, but he didn’t drink coffee so it would have to be a diet Dr. Pepper.

What movie show best describes your life?

Somewhere between “The Princess Bride” and “Young Frankenstein”
