Ephesians 3:14–19 (NIV)

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge— that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Paul prays for us to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge. How wide and long and high and deep is the love of God.

Think of the depths of Christs love for us. Philippians 2:8 (NIV) 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!

How wide is love. How wide has he stretched His love in including you and me! 1 John 2:2 (NIV) 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

What lengths His love went to save us and bring us into His eternal family. Luke 19:10 (NIV) 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

What heights His love will take us into His presence for eternity. Ephesians 3:6 (NASB95) 6 to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,

I join with Paul is praying that today you will comprehend, just a little more than you did yesterday, how much Jesus loves you and that you not just know it, you will believe it and experience it. Because it is a love that, if you will believe it, has the power to change everything.
