If you attend LCC, I am so glad that you do, I consider it a privilege to be your pastor. One of my goals is to practically and faithfully teach the word of God to you on a weekly basis. I do feel that my role is found in Ephesians written by the Apostle Paul.

Ephesians 4:12 (NASB95)  12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

You would think it pretty strange if your 15 year old was still in a high chair having to be spoon fed. They progress to standing in the pantry or the fridge complaining that there is nothing to eat, after you just spent $300 on groceries. What they mean is, nothing is jumping out of the pantry and into my mouth prepared and delicious. Mom, Dad, make me something to eat I am literally starving to death here! Eventually they will be able to cook an egg, hopefully, maybe throw a shrimp on the barbie. They will become self-feeding. So my goal is not to spoon feed you, but to help you feed yourself and become self feeding. The more you mature the more self feeding you become to the point where you are able to feed others beside yourself. This happens in the believers life when we have our own devotional life, our own prayer and worship life and their own area of serving.

We are going to be recommending some tools in the coming weeks for us to all be on the same page in our devotional life, with an encouragement for us all to read through the Bible together this year.

I love you. Pastor Randy
