If you lost your wedding ring (the wife’s with the diamonds not the mans easily replaceable one) you would panic. And you wouldn’t be consoled that you had other rings in your jewelry box. You would search and search until you found it. And when you found it, you would call your husband and everyone you called in a panic and REJOICE. Because the ring that has been lost has been found.

Every week people very important to God come through the doors of Life Community Church.

It is people that Jesus called lost. They have not yet come to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, and He came and lived and died to seek and to save the lost. So every week, we want to do everything we can to remove every barrier to them being found by Jesus.

  • We greet them at the door.
  • We want to offer them a warm cup of coffee or cool drink of water.
  • We want the check in process for their children to show that we love and value their children.
  • We want the nursery to be clean and well lit and for them to be met with a smiling face.
  • We want their children to wake them up next Sunday and want to be back at LCC because they had fun and they learned something.
  • We want the music to be inviting and the message to be practical and helpful,( and not boring) so they just might want to hear some more.

It is about removing every barrier possible so that people important to God can meet the most important person in the universe. Jesus Christ. Every Sunday is about helping someone discover what you discovered. It’s helping introduce people to Jesus and creating a welcoming, friendly and accepting environment. And we are always looking for people who will give their best for some of the most important work on the planet. Helping the Lost get found.

I am starting a new series this week on the Lord’s prayer. I think we all feel like we could learn to pray better and who better to learn from than Jesus who said, “pray like this.” So, I look forward to seeing you this Sunday or be seen online.

I love you, Pastor Randy
