At Life Community Church, we think community is pretty important.  That is why we have LifeGroups.  Our LifeGroups are the life line of our church.  We encourage every member to be a part of one of 10-15 people groups that meet on a weekly basis.  LifeGroups run for 10-12 weeks on a semester schedule that mirrors the school calendar.  Each semester, there is a new group of LifeGroups designed around specific topics (i.e. "marriage" or "sharing your faith") or around a specific demographic (i.e. teens, men, women, couples, etc...).  By offering a new batch of LifeGroups each semester, participants don't have to feel like they are "committed for life" to be in a group based on one particular topic or with one group of people.  Sign-ups for LifeGroups take place at the beginning of each semester (Fall and Spring) and can be done either online or at the church.  Being part of a LifeGroup will not only help you grow, but is also a great way to help the community because each group volunteers once a semester in some sort of community outreach.  Watch for the LifeGroups brochure to come out at the beginning of each semester and sign up early as groups tend to fill up fast!
